Mathematical Box from Tatutina Review

A few months ago was running a Bloggers giveaway, and I was lucky enough to be chosen to review a box of my choice. The Mathematical Box also known as the Open Cube box with no lid. When asked what the kids would fill it with I thought of Hunter Angry Birds and all the little block that come with them. The box is big enough to hold them, yet small enough so he could carry it room to room. The boxes have two small holes on opposite sides which makes carrying it around easy.

tatutinaH The Box runs $21 dollars and for $8 you can have any letter on it to added to it for personalization. These also come in pastel colors as well. These boxes are made with hard durable wood and and painted with nontoxic paint. It’s dimensions are 8″x8″x8″.

Now when I did get this out of the box (very tightly packed so breakage could not occur) I did manage to drop it (Ok so I have a habit of dropping everything I’m holding) To my surprise it did not end up like the perfume I dropped a few months back and broke. This box managed to hold it’s shape and the paint did not chip. For a little kid this would be perfect for Matchbox Cars, doll clothing, legos and the list could go on and on. I would highly recommend this to every parent with children who carry their toys room to room or take with them. I’m going to order one for my daughter for Christmas so she can keep her hair ties and headbands out from all over the bathroom counter.

Tatutina sells lot of different items all made from high quality wood. These items would also be great for the hard to buy for kids.

#9 The Great UGLee Pen! Review and Giveaway

The UGLee Pen, an ergonomic pen, is good for everyone who writes, and is especially helpful to people who experience pain and discomfort when writing.  When I was first chosen to review the UGLee pen I had never even seen one. All I could think was, “Great I can carry an “ugly” pen around class to class”.  This was clearly a reason I stared doing reviews.  I’m a full time college student, I write a lot. Ok that’s an understatement I write so much I go though pens like kids go through chocolate milk.

UGLee pen

Ok I’ll admit the UGLee Pen! is really not an “ugly pen”. It has become like my best friend, I take it everywhere. Once I left class because I left it in the car, missing 10 mins of Psychology class was worth it because we take more lecture notes than any other class I have. This pen has more advantages than any pen I have ever used.

The Plus Sides to the UGLee Pen!

* It has an amazing grip that feels like jelly making writing much more bearable.

* If you drop it on the desk or on a book it will not roll away. (Actually the first time I dropped in on my book I had to peal it off, so not only is it a pen it has become my past time sitting though lectures)

* The ink seems to last a lot longer than normal pens. (Instead of going through 3 pens this week I just killed off my first UGLee pen)

The Disadvantages to the UGLee Pen!

Causes you to miss class time….ok really that’s all I have.

GIANTmicrobes Christmas Review and Giveaway

Christmas is right around the corner as much as I hate to admit it. I am a stickler when it comes to shopping and always wait mostly until the last minute.  We were able to do a review on GIANTmicrobes Christmas themed box.  This is the one we received. Who know microbes could be so cute????? Tis the season for the flu and everything else the kids bring home. How about bringing home GIANTmicrobes that wont make the kids sick, nor keep them from school.

treeboxChristmas Tree Box Ornaments:
Trim your tree with Common Cold, Brain Cell, Kissing Disease, E. coli and the limited edition Red Amoeba, festively adorned with a Santa hat, candy cane, mistletoe, reindeer antlers, and winter scarf.

Once I got this and opened it, all I could think was Hunter is going to love this. What a great way to teach kids and make it a fun learning process.

These can be hung from the tree as they are attached with a gold hanging piece. I think I might hang them from our tree and have Hunter find them. They are very soft and do have small pieces. I’ve pulled on them and nothing has come off but I would not recommended for a very small child.

They also carry two other designs with different microbes inside.
